NG Rigging were awarded Principal Contractor status by Arqiva to take control of Arqiva owned sites under CDM regulations 2007 (Construction Design & Management)
Swingate was the first large project awarded to NG Rigging under principal contractor status.
The project works comprised of installing additional plating to existing members together with installing additional supports. Work was carried out on two panels with respective work heights ranging between 12-25m on one panel and 50-55m on the second panel. During the project over 4,000 holes were drilled into new and existing steelwork.
Work was carried out over a 3 month period concluding in early April 2013.
