Following complaints from local residents regarding the condition of a damaged 2.4m dish on the Arqiva owned Crystal Palace transmission tower, NG Rigging were instructed to survey and remove the dish and associated equipment
The project consisted of:
Preparation and submission of H&S pack for abseiling on the 199m tower which was, at the time, undergoing DSO upgrade works.
Setting up of abseiling ropes and rigging system.
Removal of 2.4m dish and mounting steelwork at 26m agl. Repair any damage to tower paint system.
Removal of waveguide from tower leg.
