NG Rigging has completed quite a few tower builds for WB Internet and all have been built and erected using the fixed derrick method.
The fixed derrick method is a great cost effective way of erecting towers as there is no need for the use of a crane on site, also it is ideal for sites with limited access or soft ground where getting heavy plant & machinery to the build/lift area would be a problem and could incur additional costs for Trakway etc.
In May 2009 NG Rigging were invited to build a 21mtr three leg lattice tower in Wynyard Park. The tower was built, erected, earthed and anti climb fitted in one day.
